LEISURE ACCOMMODATION VEHICLES (LAV)
Certified competent in the service, repair and maintenance of LAV Gas Appliances in:
Motorhomes
Touring caravans
Campervans
Static caravans
Park homes
Holiday lodges
If you own or hire a camper van, caravan, motorhome, mobile home, static caravan or other vehicle that uses LPG appliances, then we can carry out your LPG Gas Safety checks and certification for you.

Fully Gas Safe registered and qualified with over thirty-five years of experience in all aspects of Natural Gas and LPG installations, we have the expertise to meet all your needs and requirements.
The importance of servicing and maintenance cannot be overstated. Most leisure vehicles and appliances only function for a few weeks of the year, the remainder of the time they sit unused and/or in storage. It is this period that takes the greatest toll on your appliances.
We can provide gas bottle/hose inspections and regular servicing of your gas appliances to ensure they are working safely and effectively, typically carrying out:
Checks for gas leaks and the condition of pipework and hoses
Ventilation checks to ensure air inlets are clear and adequate
Flue checks (smoke spillage test)
Checks to ensure safety devices are working correctly
Checks that appliances are safe to use
Booking your annual Gas Safety inspection can avoid the stress and disappointment of a spoiled break due to break down or malfunction.
We recommend that the LPG system should be serviced every 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes soonest, to ensure that it is working effectively and safely.
BOOK A GAS ENGINEERGAS SAFETY CHECKS AND CERTIFICATION
Modern caravans (touring and static caravans), motorhomes and lodges are all built to high quality standards and are fitted out with domestic quality gas appliances. All gas appliances must be installed in accordance with current Gas Safety requirements and must comply with the law to ensure minimal risk to you, your family and customers.
Annual Gas Safety Inspections are increasingly becoming a requirement for insurance of your motor-home or other leisure vehicles and most parks now require privately owned static caravans to have annual Gas Safety Certificates.
We will issue a certificate providing the gas pipe work and appliances are found to be in legal safe working order.
It is always important to ensure your gas equipment and appliances are regularly serviced for peace of mind and to comply with relevant legal requirements.
Both Natural Gas and LPG are flammable gases, but LPG poses a greater danger. This is because LPG is heavier than air, allowing it to accumulate in low areas where it might go undetected by a detector.

CARBON MONOXIDE
Accidents can occur as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning or asphyxiation by a combination of circumstances, usually involving two or more of the following factors:
Inadequate ventilation (permanent air inlets)
Unsatisfactory flue
Poor appliance performance
Lack of servicing and routine maintenance
For more information about carbon monoxide poisoning visit The Health & Safety Executive website.
